Rukiya's Kuma Cottages, offer rustic chalets with modern touches that enjoy beautiful river views of the Olifants river.
Kuma offers 4 rooms in two adjacent cottages, each sleeping 3 people, as well as a private suite, for 2 people, all located in close proximity to the main lodge and river terrace.
For larger groups, Kuma has 2 stand-alone cottages, each featuring 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and private boma’s, open plan kitchen, dining, lounge areas, both in private river settings. Guests can still access the main lodge areas, located half a kilometre away.
Kuma presents a distinctive hybrid service, blending self-catering with a bit more. From self-service check-in and personalized daily scheduling to al fresco hamper meals, tailor your experience to meet your preferences. There will be a host available via WhatsApp should you have any questions or need assistance.
Kuma provides a perfect base to explore the area and surrounds, from visiting the famous Kruger National Park to Guided Game Drives and visits to local attractions as well as relaxed walks and trails around the property.
We suggest that guests staying at Kuma Cottages have there own method of transport. Transfer and activities can be booked and added at an additional cost.
Please Note: There is power throughout the camp, however due to nationwide electricity outages there could be the occasional power interruption for a short periods of time/load shedding. The WIFI has a battery back-up and there is a rechargeable light in the room as well as gas stove in the communal kitchen.
