The Rukiya Safari Style Tents - There are 6 canvas and timber tented suites, elevated on wooden stilts, beneath the riverine trees on the Blyde riverbank. Of the 6 tents, 2 open plan tents can accommodate 4 people, while the rest can sleep two people in twin or double beds. All tents have en suite bathrooms with showers, separated from the bedrooms by a zip-down canvas doorway. Each of the tents extends onto a wooden balcony overlooking the river or surrounding bush.
The Rukiya River House - Offers guests a more exclusive safari experience. It has 2 ensuite bedrooms both with air-conditioning, open plan living/dining area, a private verandah, outside seating and a wood-fired hot/cold tub with exceptional views of the wilderness. It can be booked out on a catered or self-catered rate and is ideal for small groups and families. For larger groups, guests can book one or two of the tents at the main camp in conjunction with the house.

For larger groups, Kuma has 2 stand-alone cottages, each featuring 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and private boma’s, open plan kitchen, dining, lounge areas, both in private river settings. Guests can still access the main lodge areas, located half a kilometer away.
